Mom's Day (and Granddaddy too)

Hi! Happy Mother's Day! I'd like to tell story about my cat mom. She was a stray that my human mom was feeding and she had 3 kittens, two fluffy ginger cats & ME! To try not to confuse anyone, when I say mom I referring to my human one & will say cat mom otherwise. Mom & a friend came down to take care of feeding strays one day and they saw that my cat mom had given birth s they started looking for kittens. They caught glimpses of two of them but then cat mom brought her over to a bush & showed her something underneath it. Can you guess what was under bush? It was ME!!! Mom picked me up & I was very scared but she took me home where Jade hissed at me. She decided that I was perfect mix of Ghost & Mia so they must have sent me to her. And that how my cat mom found me my forever home (and Jade still hisses at me). We aren't really celebrating Mother's Day so much today. Today is my Granddaddy's birthday! It is a big number for him (with zero on end) so his surprise party is this afternoon (shhh.... don' tell). Purrs ~ Myst

Hello everyone! I'm mad at Mom - she forgot my Gotcha Day that was April 17th! I've lived here for 4 years now. This is my story... I had a home but I think I must have gotten lost some way so I found an office where I took a nap. Someone spotted my belly while I napped in bushes and my Mom came out to check on me. They looked and checked to see if someone was looking for me but had no luck so then Mom took me home (she had lost Mia to the Rainbow Bridge about 6 months before). Ghost hissed & fussed at me but I didn't bother her & BG really didn't pay any attention to me. They both have gone to Bridge now too. So now I am head cat here as I have seniority over Myst & Blackie... as you can tell from my picture I am a fluffy Calico with Jade green eyes... I'm very happy that I've found my forever home...many purrs to everyone!

Twizzler

We just learned that our friend Twizzler has told his Mom that he is ready to go to Rainbow Bridge to be with his brothers Buzzerbee, Meep & Bear. We are sending our purrs to him & his family.

We've made so many friends thru our blog & seen a lot past. We miss everyone who has gone before and we try to remember the following quote:

Forever Friday

Our human is not disposable. She may have imperfections, may have health problems, and be a lot of work. But when I got her, I promised her a forever home. No matter what her faults are, she is good at something, and deserves to be loved and have a forever home. She is not only my human, she is my family. We remember 09/11/2011

We think Alan Jackson did excellent job with this song. Hopefully, we will never see a repeat of the tragic events anywhere in the world - we do hope that everyone remembers what happened when the world changed not only for us in USA but truly the entire world was changed as well on that September day.

In Memory Of Cathy (Beau's Mom)

Words can express how much Cathy will be missed. Her sister posted the sad news on facebook that Cathy had passed after being very sick the last few weeks. The news was quite unexpected and we would like to send out purrs to Beau, Cathy's family as well as all of our cat blogosphere family.
